Projects
This is a geolocation project which is detecting your geolocation and showing it on the map,
as well as the country borders where you are in. You may refuse using geolocation on your device, in this case you are free to select any country you wish.
Using layer control on the top right, you can manage the appearance of markers, showing weathers stations, geographical devision, places of interest, described in Wikipedia etc.
Buttons on the right allow you to see additional information about the selected country, like general information, currency rates, weather forecast, covid statistics, news.
To create this project I used Leaflet library, Open Street Map as a tile layer. I implemented the project using vanilla Javascript, jQuery for DOM manipulation, PHP for interactions with a server.
I also added different plugins like Leaflet marker clusters, Leaflet easy buttons, leaflet extra markers, Leaflet awesome markers.
For additional information I used folowing APIs: Openweather, Currency exchange, Rest countries and others. The styling is managed by Boostrap framework and own CSS styles.
Company directory project is built for the company internal use. You can create new employees, browse for their contact information in the list, edit their information and remove them from the database.
You can manage departments and locations of the company. However the program won`t allow you to delete any location if there are still departments in it and the same for departments if they have employees.
I used Maria DB database, PHP for calling SQL queries, JavaScript for AJAX calls and jQuery for DOM manipulations. The styling is managed by Boostrap framework and own CSS styles.
